Immel Construction is a safety conscious contractor and has received recognition for its safety record achievements. We recognize the value safety adds to on-time completion. Prevention of injuries to our employees, customers, suppliers and anyone else who may visit our job sites is our first and primary concern. We also take pride in caring for our property, the property of others in our control and the property of those in close proximity to our operations.

As such, we employ a Safety Director to oversee and manage the safety program. The program includes certifications in OSHA 30, first aid, CPR, scaffold competency and excavation safety for all job foremen and superintendents. Immel also participates in the OSHA Consultation program in several states.

Our safety record includes the following achievements:

  • 630,000 man-hours without an OSHA recordable injury.
  • 2011 Safety Award from the Association of General Contractors
  • 2009 Excellence in Safety Award from the Wisconsin Safety Council

Immel Construction is a proud participant in a corporate SWPPP (Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan) Program. We aid in the reduction and elimination of contaminated storm water on all company job sites. We recognize SWPPP as a team effort. Therefore, this program assigns responsibility, outlines actions to be taken and methods of reducing/eliminating contaminated storm water runoff.
